31 youth and 7 adults traveled to the Dominican Republic, June 19-26, 2010 for a Mission Trip. Their efforts focused at Camp Mount Transfiguration, the Episcopal Diocese's camp and retreat center in Pedregal.

Church School Closing Celebration and Teacher Appreciation

Our needleworkers are off and running. They recently came together to share their progress. Here you see the designs for the Communion kneeler cushions by Nancy Lukowski of Fancywork Finishing in Easton, Maryland. Nancy has worked for years as head of the Needlework Guild at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Her design incorporates elements found throughout the Church. The Rector joined the workers and here leads them in prayer and a blessing of their work. Redeemer’s needleworkers are led by Nancy Sharp and Anne Barnett and include: Joan Warren, Lois Muscheck, Nancy Schriber, Sally Moser, Mary-Brigham Durand and Evie Day. Each panel is a huge undertaking and will take an individual 12 to 18 months to complete.
