Directions to Church of the Redeemer
Pennswood and New Gulph Roads
Bryn Mawr, PA  19010

From Pennsylvania Turnpike

Exit at Valley Forge. Continue straight past tolls which puts you on 76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) towards Philadelphia and exit at Gulph Mills (exit # 330). Make a right onto Route 320 South to 2nd traffic light. Take left onto Upper Gulph Rd. – Savona Restaurant on left, Sunoco gas station on right. Continue straight through next light when road becomes Old Gulph. Pass Calvary cemetery on left. Follow for approximately 3 ˝ miles – Old Gulph becomes New Gulph at the traffic light with sign for Baptist church. Continue straight past Morris Ave. Go one block to Fisher Rd. Church on corner of Fisher, New Gulph and Pennswood Roads.

 

From City of Philadelphia

Take Schuylkill Expressway West and exit at Gladwyne (exit # 337). Turn left onto Hollow Road. Turn right onto Conshohocken State Road/PA-23. Stay straight at traffic light to go onto Mill Creek Road. Turn slight right onto Old Gulph Road. Turn left onto Hillbrook Road. Turn slight left onto Fishers Road. Turn left onto Pennswood Road. End at Pennswood Road & New Gulph Road.

 

From New Jersey Turnpike

N.J. Turnpike South to PA Turnpike West and follow to West Exit 26-1/North Exits 31-39. Merge onto I-476 S via Exit 333 toward Mid-County/Philadelphia/Chester. Follow 476 South to exit 13 – Villanova, St. Davids. * Take a right on Lancaster Ave. East (Route 30) and follow approx. 2 miles. Pass Villanova University and go through the center of Bryn Mawr. Cross over Bryn Mawr Ave. About 5 lights past Bryn Mawr Ave. you’ll come to Pennswood Rd. Acme supermarket on the left hand corner. Take a left at the light onto Pennswood Rd. Go to next traffic light which is Montgomery Ave. Cross over Montgomery Ave. Go one block to the stop sign at New Gulph Road. The entrance to the Church is at this intersection to the left.

 

From Airport

Take 95 South to exit 476 North-Plymouth Meeting, to Exit 13 – Villanova, St. Davids. *(Follow same directions from N.J. Turnpike above).

 

From City Line Ave.

Turn onto Lancaster Ave. going West and go through the towns of Wynnewood, Ardmore and Haverford approximately 5 miles until you reach Pennswood Rd. – Acme supermarket on right hand corner. Take a right at light onto Pennswood Rd. Go to next traffic light which is Montgomery Ave. Cross over Montgomery Ave. Go one block to the stop sign at New Gulph Road. The entrance to the Church is at this intersection to the left.

 

From Route 476 (Blue Route)

Take Exit 13 – Villanova, St. Davids. Take a right on Lancaster Ave. East (Route 30) and follow approx. 2 miles. Pass Villanova University and go through the center of Bryn Mawr. Cross over Bryn Mawr Ave. About 5 lights past Bryn Mawr Ave. you’ll come to Pennswood Rd. Acme supermarket on the left hand corner. Take a left at the light onto Pennswood Rd. Go to next traffic light which is Montgomery Ave. Cross over Montgomery Ave. Go one block to the stop sign at New Gulph Road. The entrance to the Church is at this intersection to the left.

 

Via Public Transportation—SEPTA Regional Rail R5 line to Bryn Mawr station

Start out going North on Morris Ave. toward N. Bryn Mawr Ave. 0.1 miles
Turn right onto Montgomery Ave. 0.3 miles
Turn left onto Pennswood Rd. 0.1 miles
End at Pennswood Rd. & New Gulph Rd.
